Principal Satoya Dodd » Greetings!

Greetings!

Hello students, parents, family, faculty, staff, and friends!  My name is Satoya Dodd, and I would like to take this opportunity to share with you a little about myself.

I come to you from Tyler, TX, my home for the last 17 years; however, I am a native of the small, cozy town of Center, TX. After graduating from Center High School, I advanced my education at The University of Texas at Tyler in which I obtained my undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Afterwards, for a short time, I worked for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services; nevertheless, I eventually pursued my desire in education. My teaching experience is credited to Tyler Independent School District where I educated students in the disciplines of English Language Arts/ESL, Social Studies, and Reading. As well, I was a Dyslexia designee. Later, I obtained my Masters in Educational Leadership from LeTourneau University and was promoted as the Secondary ESL Instructional Specialist for the district.

I am delighted to now have the opportunity to serve as the Assistant Principal at Diboll Primary School! My aspiration is to positively impact academic achievement. As a leader, I believe in nurturing the strengths of each individual as well as enabling opportunities to develop new skills for both students and teachers. Thank you for having me!
